As a Xero partner, you’re always looking for ways to help boost your efficiency and better serve your clients. That’s where Ignite comes in – our new Xero plan which streamlines the old GST Cashbook and Starter plans. Discover the benefits and pricing of Ignite and see how it’s already helping partners and their clients across Australia and New Zealand improve insight into their cash flow.
Tell me, what’s Ignite?
Ignite combines the best features of the GST Cashbook and Starter plans, while adding new, user-friendly tools that help simplify financial management and drive business success.
For Amar Latif, Co-Founder from MAD Wealth, he says Ignite has empowered his clients to know their numbers, and in turn, helped him have more informed conversations with them.
“Ignite is a great accounting solution accessible to all businesses, not just accountants and bookkeepers. It’s designed for those clients who want to take control of their finances daily, allowing them to manage invoices, track bills, and monitor cash flow in real time, without needing to rely on an accountant for every transaction.” This saves Amar a lot of time and allows him to focus on billable tasks, he says.
So, what does Ignite have to offer?
- Cash coding: A favourite feature from the GST Cashbook, designed to make transaction coding quick and easy.
- Hubdoc: Automatically extracts key data from bills, receipts, and bank statements, reducing manual data entry.
- Invoicing: Create, send, and manage invoices with ease, plus set up payment reminders to help manage cash flow.
- Client Insights: Provides access to key financial data to track cash flow, monitor financial health, and spot trends.
According to Amar, Ignite’s detailed analytics have been especially impactful to his advisory offerings.
“We all know cash flow is king for small businesses. Of course, helping clients gain clarity on their cash flow is a critical part of our service, and Xero Ignite provides the insights we need to do this successfully. Because ultimately, it’s about guiding them towards smarter business decisions,” says Amar.
Ok, it sounds good. But how much does it cost?
Ignite is $35 per month (includes GST in AU, excludes GST in NZ), and although the GST Cashbook started at $28 per month, it wasn’t eligible for partner discount. This means some partners may benefit financially on Ignite. For example, as a Gold Foundation Partner with a 25% discount, you’re only paying $26.25 for Ignite.
What does migrating to Ignite entail?
For Xero partners on GST Cashbook, migrating to Ignite can be straightforward. If coding is done in-house, there’s no need to update your clients – the transition should be seamless and go unnoticed on their end. We recommend contacting your dedicated Xero account management team before migrating yourself.
